As we get closer to the weekend, we’re excited to introduce 7 new artists who will be joining us in Antwerp, Belgium for Converse You’re Here.
Translated “Bike without Brakes,” Bicicleta Sem Freio is a collective of illustrators from Goiania, Brazil. With two of the three members also forming the band Black Drawing Chalks, the influence of these illustrators is very much based in the world of music.
After kicking off in Berlin in January, YOU’RE HERE event series is making its way across Europe this Spring, with recent stops in Paris and Lisbon. The Belgian scene is dripping with fresh, new creative acts, and as one of the leading cities in art and fashion, Antwerp is chosen as the next destination.
Ana is a doll-maker from Mexico City. Initially inspired by watching her mother sew and make things when she was a child, Ana now finds her inspiration in the streets which she walks.
Pacolli is an artist from Sao Paolo, and part of the art collective known as “The Human Pyramids.” Her work is like seeing the world through her eyes.
Daria Marchik is a photographer based in Berlin, London and Moscow. Originally from Russia, her photos are colorful, glamorous and yet a bit morbid.
Brandon Rosenbluth grew up Los Angeles and crossed the ocean to become a technological shaman in Berlin.
Growing up in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Talita is inspired by her environments and finds her ideas in the things she encounters there: situations, people, nature, behavior.

Hannelore is a young artist from Belgium, who lives in Berlin now on an artist residency in GlogauAIR. She makes charcoal drawings that sometimes spread over whole rooms and factory floors. She studied Illustration in Belgium, but after her studies she felt like she couldn’t make drawings that were meant for reproduction. She wanted to do something else, something bigger.
