Olivia invites you in to the world of her imagination. Look, and look within…
These guys take the experiment to a whole new level.
Pietro Cocco is a 24 years old talented photographer. He lives and has been studying in Milan, where he also now works as a still-life and landscape photographer. Other than that, he strongly believes in his personal research, that he’s been working on from several years now. He just got back from an amazing trip to New Dehli, and we couldn’t miss the chance to ask him all about that and his future plans.
DEATH IN PLAINs is a visual/musical adventure, the brainchild of Enrico Boccioletti from Pesaro. Following a brilliant performance on the Experimental Circle Club stage at this yearʼs Offset Festival, his new single ʻOver and Aboveʼ has just been released on London based DiscError Recordings. A summer echo, the sound of serotonin rising; of legions of soaked T-shirted kids marching on the spot in a dancefloor half-dream: of the belief that everything might just be ok, at least until the end of the song.
Nina Fischer & Maroan el Sani are an artist collective from Berlin and have been working together for sixteen years now. They are pretty much into photography and film, broaching topical issues in their work. Besides many exhibitions all around the world, they won some prizes and stipends as well the last years. Interesting are indeed the perseverative symbols they combine, which are often of Asian origin and result in a very special atmosphere.
It is always very refreshing to find in the midst of this overly-big, overly-wild, and overly-exaggerated surrounding a person, who shows you what really matters: the true essence of the things around you. Helena Petersen is one of those people.
Jacob is a 20-year-old photographer who was inspired to pick up a camera while witnessing a natural disaster on a school trip abroad. His passion for travel photography has grown and he recently travelled across the United States for three months and came back with thousands of seemingly banal, candid black and white images that perfectly capture the essence of Americana. The images now hang at his first solo exhibition in Tavistock Place, London. His approach to photography is not one of styling and altering images in editing programs, but of capturing everything as is, while it’s moving and alive.
Holly Lucas is a 17-year-old photography prodigy – she has been accepted to the photo programme at the London College of Communications without doing the requisite foundation year, because her work shows maturity and experience beyond her years. Holly likes to take photos of everything she sees around East London – from bands to parties to her friends, all while documenting what it’s like to be a teen in 2010.
Nicolas Choyé and Esteban Gonzalez are a duo called NEUE. Their association is the desire to mix graphic, typographic and musical inspirations. It all started during a trip to Amsterdam: the two boys, although they’ve known each other since high school and weren’t close friends (let’s even say they didn’t like each other), suddenly realized they have interests in common. That was two years ago.
Alessandro Teoldi was born in Milan in 1987. After getting his high school diploma, he attended an undergraduate course in photography and visual arts. After spending some months in Vancouver, he graduated last year with the project Estate 1984.
